PLUG AND MOLD FINISHERS

We are seeking both experienced Finishers, those with prior experience gained from working in the marine or automotive fields, as well as novices with a strong desire to learn how to work with composites. Ideal candidates would be motivated, hardworking, detail oriented individuals with a solid work history, who are not afraid to get their hands dirty. 

 

Primary Job Duties:

-Operate power tools and shop tools (air and electric)

-Identify correct grit and block to use on different surfaces

-Block sand

-Shape parts to template or drawing

-Prepare surfaces for spray patches

-Spray primer

-Properly tape off sections of tools for spraying or protection

-Mix and drag putty for patching

-Properly clean and wax parts and molds

-DA mold surfaces

-Apply non-skid

 

Work Schedule:

While we reserve the right to adjust schedules to suit legitimate business needs, the bulk of our Team Members work 7am to 3:30pm. Consistent, on time attendance is expected.

 

Tools and Equipment:

Tape measure, trim knife, putty knives (1” & 3”), sand blocks, angle grinder, ¾” chisel, scaper, scissors, hammer

 

Physical Requirements:

Able to wear protective clothing (eyeglasses, gloves, clothing, respirators, dust masks); able to carry and use all tools necessary to perform job assignments (minimum of 30lbs); able and willing to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
